Community Blood Drive Information:
The Blood Center of Central Texas will have their 40 foot bloodmobile in front of the fire hall for the convenience of those who wish to save lives through donating blood.
Did you know that every three seconds someone needs blood? And that 4.5 million Americans would die each year without life saving blood transfusions?
But did you also know that a single donation of your blood could save two lives?
What a great way to spend a Saturday morning; eating pancakes and saving lives! Please join us in the bloodmobile from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 13th. NO APPOINTMENT IS NECESSARY! Just show up and give!
Blood donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health, know their social security number, and bring a photo ID.
