PROCEDURES FOR MAILING VNA NEWSLETTERS
l. Pick up copies of newsletters from Lonnie:
Lonnie will put the newsletter together, take it to the printers
(550 copies = $41.25) and print the labels.
2. Route 3 requires no labels (approximately 490). Stick labels for all others
To secure open edge, stick a 3/4 circle label in the middle of the open
edge side.
(I purchased a package of 560 labels for $1.92 at Walmart)
3. You will need to address labels to those members living outside Rte 3.
(Attached is list of those members.)
4. The Leander Post Office on 183 will not accept newsletters unless they are sorted:
a. Route 3: Count and bundle 490 newsletters for this mailing.
b. All others: Pieces must be packaged if 10 or more pieces are going:
(1) to same 5-digit ZIP code
(2) to same 3-digit ZIP code prefix
See attached Quick Service Guide 630 obtained from the Post Office.
5. Complete GS Form 3602N (can be printed from the Post Offices web
site at www.usps.com )

Check letter, enter mailing date and fill in the total number of pieces.
Permit No. is 32
Postage computation will be Part B (Austin addresses and anything else not in Rte. 3) and Part C (bulk rate, Rte. 3) added together.

fill in B3 under Section B which is basic letter (all other mailings)
complete computations and enter on page 1 (under Postage Computation)

6. After sorting and completing GS Form 3602N, take to the back loading
dock at the Leander Post Office between 9am and 3 pm.
