VNA BOARD MEETING FEBRUARY 1, 2005



Meeting called to order at 7:08 pm by President Al Blunt.
Members present: Al Blunt, Connie Curtiss, Mary Pomplun, Susan Breyer,
Ken Beck, Al Graci, Mario Guzman.

Two members from non-profit organizations came to Board meeting to
present information about their companies. Stephanie Shepperd from Austin
Recovery Center and David Gomez from Safe Haven were the speakers. Each person
gave an informative talk about their processes, goals, and most importantly for
us, their needs. The Board will take under consideration these two
organizations, and will probably pick one to help with some form of charitable giving.

SECRETARY'S REPORT: accepted as read.

TREASURER'S REPORT; There is a balance of $2804.44. MP received
membership dues from 35 people, closing the balance at $3329.46.

LAKE TRAVIS:Board discussed the Grason Development Company and their
application and intent to obtain a water quality permit. CC said that
her information indicated they planned to put their waste water in Gunn
Hollow.

Further discussion followed.

BUSINESS AND DEVELOPMENT: No new information

ROADWAYS: MG said that Jackson Street has a stop sign now. CC indicated
that the Dodd St. sign is down, as in the sign for Debbie St.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS: AB said that his mail indicated that any trash
pickup scheduled for a holiday that falls during week will be picked up next
day.

NEWSLETTER: MP projected that the next newsletter articles should be in
by March 24th, and letter should come out about a week before annual
meeting.

ANNUAL MEETING: AB discussed which present Board members would be
running again, and how we might find new members for next year. The annual
meeting is projected to be April 9, 2005, and may be combined with the fire hall
open house and a barbque.

KB talked with Board about a possible development at the end of
Pocohontas.

There could be some multi family dwellings at this site. Further
discussion ensued.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 pm.
