VNA BOARD MEETING AUGUST 3, 2004

MEMBER'S PRESENT: Al Blunt, Ken Beck, Mary Pomplun, Bob Mott, Susan Breyer. GUEST: Joy Haynie

The meeting was called to order at 7:09 PM by President Al Blunt.

SECRETARY'S REPORT: Read and accepted by email.

TREASURER'S REPORT: Balance as of May 24, 2004 was $3740.00; balance as of June 23, 2004 was $3755.67; balance as of July 31, 2004 was $3770.67. SB made a motion that we reimburse Lonnie Moore $251.35 for the annual web site fee; MP seconded; all in favor.

MEMBERSHIP: SB said the VNA has 77 members. We send 21 newsletters to interested persons outside the 78641 zip code.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS: We still have not received a response to our letter to Mayor Yenawine concerning Cafe Blue. AB will send him an email.

LAKE TRAVIS: No report.

BUSINESS AND DEVELOPMENT: No report.

ROADWAYS: No report.

NEWSLETTER: Articles are to be sent to MP by August 24. SB will write on fish fry; KB - VOV update; Joy Haynie - history of church; MG - update on Bullick Hollow Road; AB - a few sentences on each Board member; SB - waht to do and NOT do when an emergency vehicle is behind you (include bicycles).

OLD BUSINESS: KB is waiting to hear from CPA Al Graci about the status of VNA incorporation. BM had not yet spoken with Lonnie Moore about using his web site to match people with those citizens willing to provide help.

NEW BUSINESS: We reviewed AB's mail and decided that he will review future mail, present pertinent information to the Board, and keep the rest for 3 months.
