VNA BOARD MEETING JUNE 1, 2004

Members present: Ken Beck, acting president, Mary Pomplun, Treasurer,
Susan Breyer, Membership and Community Relations, Bob Mott, Business and
Development.

SECRETARY'S REPORT: Approved as read and amended.

TREASURER'S REPORT: MP stated a balance of $3740. There was a membership
payment of $278.00, expenses were $682 for the newsletter and payment to
Lonnie Moore for his ongoing work. KB gave the Board an update on
whether to incorporate as a Homeowner's Association or to pursue non-profit
status.
KB discussed with Lonnie Moore how the original By Laws were created, and
discussed options with Al Graci of Cooper Graci in Austin. Resulting
information is that the best method to take is to incorporate under the
IRS provision for Homeowner's Organizations. Al Graci is working with KB to
submit all appropriate paperwork.

LAKE TRAVIS: Steve Allen is in touch with Parks and Wildlife. One boat
accident occurred over the Memorial Day holiday. Lake Travis is at 679' on
June 1, 2004: 7 1/2 feet above the June average. It will continue to go
down this summer. BM stated the LCRA Dock Ordinance is completed, and can
probably be found on the LCRA website. He will bring to next Board
meeting for review.

BUSINESS AND DEVELOPMENT: BM stated there was no new business at this
time.


MEMBERSHIP; SB stated there are currently 75 paid VNA members.

ROADWAYS: Board will ask MG to contact the County Commissioner about the
Bullick Hollow repairs to see if they are complete as we are not pleased
with the work done.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS: SB attended the VOV council meeting. She reported
that
the VOV has extended the moratorium on commercial building for 90 days.

July 26th is due date for articles.

Board discussed charity outreach possibilities. BM will discuss with Lonnie

Moore the appropriateness of using our website as a clearing house for
requests for assistance and matching up with residents willing to help.
