SECRETARY'S REPORT: Approved as read and amended.

TREASURER'S REPORT: MP stated we have a current balance of
$3508.90. BM reported that an additional deposit will make
it $3740.00.
Board discussed changing banks and changing the type of
accounts we have now. All Board members agreed to the VNA
getting a tax ID#. AB moved that we close the account at
Compass Bank and open a business account at Bank of America.
Board further decided that 2 signatures should be on this
account: President and Treasurer with only the Treasurer
needed to cash a check. Motion was seconded and approved.
KB stated he would meet with accountant Al Graci and ask him
to help us secure a tax ID# at the simplest level of a
nonprofit organization. Treasurer's report was approved.

LAKE TRAVIS COMMITTEE: The Chairman was absent, but Lake
Travis level on this day was at 681.3.

BUSINESS AND DEVELOPMENT: BM had no report, but a
discussion followed on future boundary lines.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE: SB and BM said there are 81 paid
members for 2003.

ROADWAYS COMMITTEE: MG stated there was no new info at this
time, but stated he would like feedback on all the Volente
roads as to their safety, maintenance needs etc.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS: SB stated that the bulletin board is
still being used by the community. SB, who attended the VOV
meeting, discussed the contents of the meeting. See VOV
website for details.
No letter has been sent to Mayor Jan Yenawine about Cafe
Bleu. Since this is something the Board has said they would
do, and after further discussion, Board decided that Pres.
AB should write a letter to VOV to see what course of
action will be taken.

Newsletter: Board decided to put out a newsletter in
July/August. Tentative date for articles to be turned in to
MP is July 26th.

In other community news, The Voter's Guide Group wanted to
use the VNA bulk mail, but this is not possible due to our
nonprofit status per the Postmaster.

Board discussed WATER MATTERS newsletter. There website is:
http://www.hlgrp.org. Affiliated sites: colerowland@austin.rr.com.
Further discussion of Lake Travis water level was held, and
commented upon by guest SG. She stated that Gary Gross and
Ron Martinez are the VOV reps to LCRA. AB stated he would
follow up on this and the WATER MATTER newsletter.

AB stated that he would not be here for the June meeting, so
Vice President KB will chair.

AB started a discussion on the possibility of VNA doing some
charity work. After extensive discussion, Boarad decided to
consider what needs are not being met in this area. We will
consider this matter again at the next meeting.

Board discussed need for an additional member. Further
research is being done.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:18 PM.
