CPR Resources Inc. is a health education company established in 1990. Since that time we have trained thousands of central Texans providing them with realistic solutions to everyday emergencies.
We are more than just instructors. We are professional Paramedics and Firefighter/EMTs who are actively involved in providing life-saving pre-hospital emergency care in the real world on a daily basis.

Our combined CPR & First Aid class covers all the requirements for Childcare Provider Certification, and is approved by the State of Texas Childcare Licensing, Foster and Adoption services as well as Child Protective Services. This is the class for daycare staff, nannies, foster parents, babysitters, moms and dads. Upon completion of our class, you will receive certification cards for CPR and First Aid that are both valid for 2 years. 2.5 hour class: $25/person.

Jerry Cohen, instructor (512) 825-0751

CPR Resources offers CPR, AED (automatic external defibrillator), and first aid instruction for the lay rescuer and the healthcare provider.  The class covers CPR instruction for the adult, child and infant.  AED training demonstrates the use of the defibrillator and how to incorporate it into a CPR emergency.  The class also goes over choking maneuvers for the adult, child, and infant.  The last part of the class covers first aid.  The objective of the first aid portion of the class is to distinguish between 911 emergencies, minor emergencies, and "treat yourself situations".  Examples of material included in the first aid portion of the class includes seizures, diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions, heat emergencies, and many other common medical emergencies.

The class duration is usually around 2 1/2 hours.  Each participant will receive a class handout and a CPR certification card for both CPR and First AID.  The certification card is good for two years and is accepted by the State of Texas for work place needs.
